Priceline Hotel: Westin Causuarina Las Vegas

Was wondering if anyone has stayed at this hotel recently and could offer an opinion? All of the reviews posted here are from 3 years ago. I have read about recent "upgrades" and was wondering if the hotel is actually fairly decent, or is shabby like most of the reviews around the internet lead me to believe. I have found a super sexy rate on LMT, so I am hoping someone can give me some positives for this place to make me secure my room.

Most of the reviews for this property aren't just in relation to the property itself, but a in large part to the slightly off-strip location (it's walkable for most but not the 'vegas experience' most are seeking) and that it lacks the 'over-the-top' traits of the new mega-reorts (again, not the 'vegas experience' that many are seeking)... but i suppose for the right price it's certainly do-able, especially for Vegas veterans who are looking for a small casino to gamble in OR just a place to sleep.
