Hotwire Hotel: 4* Los Angeles (Downtown) Millennium Biltmore

Biltmore Hotel in LA for $273 for three nights.

The amenities listed were:

Swimming Pool, fitness center, restaurant, business center, high speed internet, and maybe some others but unfortunately I just discovered this forum and did not note then down first.

I have just received my credit card statement and have been charged the same amount twice for hotwire bookings. I have checked my emails and did receive 2 with different reference numbers, but hadn't looked until just now. I do vaguely remember that the site crashed in the middle of my first booking and I had to restart. Have called hotwire who are repeating the non-refundable line over and over and over again, so I now have 2 bookings for me in the same room for the same nights which they wont refund and I cant transfer!

Has anyone successfully resolved a similar issue with them before? I have had good experiences with them in the past, but being unable to resolve an issue like this where there is obviously no benefit to me in making/cancelling the booking and they could easily resell the room is just ridiculous!

Please call them again and maybe ask for a supervisor? If it's the exact same reservation - in the same name, for the same dates, same number of people - they would have to agree that you made a mistake. You can't be in two rooms at one time if there's only one of you.

I hope you get a decent resolution out of this.

You can still view the amenities associated with your purchase by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page. Can you please provide the full list of amenities, as well as the room rate per nite (before fees and taxes)

How long ago did you make the reservation(s)? Were both made on the same nite, if so, how far apart?
