edeny Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 I was wondering if anyone who has booked this hotel through Hotwire could comment on how many beds are provided. I specified 2 adults and 1 child, and there was a room available, so it seems that would indicate 2 beds. But when I contacted the hotel directly they said a standard room cannot be guaranteed to have 2 beds, even if booked directly through the hotel.Thank you for any information!

edeny Posted June 12, 2012 Author Report Posted June 12, 2012 If anyone who has booked this hotel through Hotwire could comment on my original question, that would be great. Were you able to get 2 beds?Thank you.
AaronJB Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 HOTWIRE ensures some form of bedding for the entire party if you are a party of more than 2 - that is commonly two beds, but can be 1 + sofabed or other combo.I'd try calling one more time and see if you can talk to someone else. Otherwise, if there is an issue at arrival, I'd call HOTWIRE and see if they can work out the issue.
thereuare Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 Sorry, i missed the previous question when hit 'see last post' in order to view your follow-up.Even if somebody else has received two beds at this property is may have little bearing as to you being able to receive two beds.Since you booked for for 2adults/1child i would call HOTWIRE and let them know that you called the hotel to ensure two beds in the room and you were told that it was not guaranteed, and that you're now concerned with your purchase. Ask HOTWIRE to call the hotel to confirm that you will receive a room with two beds.If the hotel/HOTWIRE come back stating that the hotel will accommodate 3 people with the use of a rollaway or a sofabed, that is within the hotel's right, but by taking the above action you will at least ensure sleeping accommodations for all three of you (it's not clear from your post if your concern is two actual beds OR that there will be accommodations for the three of you (even with the use of a rollaway or sofabed)).Good luck and let us know how you make out. edeny Posted June 13, 2012 Author Report Posted June 13, 2012 Glad to report all is well. I called the hotel directly again and this time the front desk went ahead and changed me to a 2 queen room. I am a happy guest! Thanks as always for the help.
AaronJB Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 Thank you for the follow-up, and glad the hotel was willing to work with you. :)
