line777 Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 Booked 1 night 1 room using PRICELINE link for this 2* hotel in Bishop, Ca. Bid up to 62$ on other days, didn't get any deal. Tried bidding on a hotel in Lone Pine several times, starting at $55, bidding up to $87 today, didn't get any deal either. Started bidding for a 2,5* hotel in Bishop today at $65, lost, won this 2* hotel at $68. Booking and most other pages have it at $90 per room per night. It wouldn't have been my first choice hotel and isn't the best deal ever but it's quite a good deal + for free breakfast, internet and parking. Prices seem to be higher this year than 2011, I exspected to get it at a lower price but was rejected so many times I don't think I overbid..
