LogicX Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 Used PRICELINE link to start my bidding.I did a crazy amount of bidding:3* all zones but North Myrtle Beach - Little River and Pawley's Island & Murrells Inlet - up to $100 - nothing.Then I started doing 2.5* until I finally got this at $85.New hotel to add to the list:Best Western Plus Myrtle Beach Hotel 9551 N Kings HighwayMyrtle Beach, SC 29572843-213-1440Room goes for $134/night on their site, similar at Kayak, et alSurprised things are so expensive since I went just a few weeks earlier last year and made out like a bandit - resort for $50/night, etc. (see my other threads)Seems this is a good deal though for so close, holiday weekend, and heightened part of the season.
