jimdsail Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 I travel to this area for business several times a year and never have a problem getting a 3.5 or 4* hotel for under $100 in the priceline zones surrounding SFO. For whatever reason the rates these 2 nights are very high on sites like Orbitz, Expedia, etc. Used the bb link to try some PRICELINE bids and re-bids but had no luck. My main question is whether there's a decent chance that things will soften right before those dates? If so then maybe its worth waiting until the day before to bid in case some rooms have been released.
AaronJB Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 I think it's getting awfully close to the dates; while there is always some chance that there may be some last minute price drops, definitely be on the lookout for something as cooling prices are definitely not guaranteed (and they could go the other way if something's going on for these dates.)What bids have you made so far, and what would be your desired budget per night?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
