Priceline Hotel: 3* St. Catharines - Niagara (Niagara Falls) Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel

I need hotel stay for 7/4-7/6. This is our first time to Niagara Falls. I think the hotels in the "Fallview" section looks good. However, when I look at the 5 zones, I don't know which zone have the Fallsview hotel. I think it might be zone 2 but not sure. Does anyone know if there is a current hotel list for these zones? The priceline hotel list I on see is dated 2003 and the zone descriptions are different. Please help. I looking at 3 to 3.5* hotel. I would like this hotel (Wyndham Garden Fallsview Niagara Falls) but don't know which zone it falls in.

I do know that Embassy Suites FallsView at Niagara Falls have very good views of both the falls. You may want to check that out.

Thanks. I think I found my answer. It look like zone 1 has the Fallsview hotels. I still can't find current hotel like for PL.

Correct, Zone 1, "Nigara Falls" is the one with the 'main' hotels (better to use the zone name rather than the number since the zone numbers will change if/when zones are re-named or new ones are added)

If you'd like help with a bidding strategy for this stay, let us know your maximum bid and we'll advise accordingly. Also, if we believe a 4* is within whatever budget you indicate, would you want to try for that first OR is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this trip?

Sorry to hijack the post, but we are planning a trip to the area and hoping to find a decent place on the US side of the falls to check in on the 15th (friday) for a two night stay.

I tried 3 start for $125/night and was denied, added 2.5* and lowered to 99/night and didn't get it either.. Can you please suggest what would be a good number for these dates? Also if you think it helps to postpone the trip by a week, we could do that too..

Unfortunately my mother in law is visiting us and she doesn't have a canadian visa so we weren't sure if we can get her a tourist visa in under two weeks or so.

I'm ok w/ 3*. When I looked hotel availability for PL for 3* Niagara Falls, ON Canada, it list range of fallsview hotels of $101 to $162, so would $50 be reasonable starting bid? I like to stay around $80 if possible.

Thank you for your help. For our Niagara Falls visit (7/4-7/6) , we were able to get the Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel for $77/night.
