Well, since the deal that had been discussed in that thread was no longer available and the fact that I did not use Priceline or Hotwire, I didn't feel it was relevent.

Ideally all threads on the board will have a resolution with what the user did do for the stay... even if it's not PRICELINE or HOTWIRE, as this helps keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone. As you have now followed-up that thread indicating that you booked the La Concha directly with the hotel, perhaps this will give another user an idea of a hotel to pursue directly for a time when they are having a tough time having their own Key West bids accepted.
