Dhawk012 Posted June 6, 2012 Author Report Posted June 6, 2012 I will be staying from June 15th(check-in) - June 18th(check-out) Total of 3 nights.
Dhawk012 Posted June 6, 2012 Author Report Posted June 6, 2012 Last night I went ahead and tried all of the 4 star areas that I preferred as seen in my first post, I started at like $110 and ended at a whopping $170(quite a bit more than I wanted to spend) and I had no luck). I then tried to get 3.5* hotels in the same areas but also adding Fisherman's Wharf area, I started at $100 and ended at $160 and still no luck IDK what I am doing wrong can I have some bidding advise?
thereuare Posted June 7, 2012 Report Posted June 7, 2012 Rates are very for these dates with most hotels in the mid-$300's or low $400's, and with demand this strong there is little reason for hotels to discount too deeply (or at all) if they believe they may be able to sell roms in their own at full price.I did find the Club Quarters for your dates at $222/nite and is fully refundable up until the day before your stay (always double check cancellation terms yourself during the checkout process)... i would book this as a back-up continue to try PRICELINE and HOTWIRE in the days ahead, if you're successful simply cancel the back-up reservation. Although this is over your stated budget, this is a pretty good rate given the very tight demand for these nites. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. WonderfulLife Posted June 25, 2012 Report Posted June 25, 2012 "Club Quarters" is 2.5 stars at best. Their room is tiny, and room furnishing is about the same level as Ramada Inn. But of course, you get what you pay for.
