Priceline Hotel: need Help with 4* venice or santa monica beach hotel

Please, need help finding luxury boutique hotels at a bargain in and around LA for the two of us. We are planning our trip from 6/22 to 6/25.

Therefore Need valuable advice from all of you good folks to find a good bargain for the following

1. 6/22 to 6/23 in LA

2. 6/23 to 6/24 near disney

3. 6/24 to 6/25 around santa monica or venice beach.

I'm newbie when it comes to bidding on priceline and hotwire. Therefore please provide as much detail as possible (the bidding range, and sub regions i should select while bidding). Also would prefer to have a 3.5* (no bestwerns) with breakfast or a suite. Other amenities we are looking for are free parking.

With PRICELINE you can choose a boutique-style property, only the star level and zone(s) you're willing to accept. With HOTWIRE you may able to identify the hotel beforehand based upon the clues provide and therefore have a guess as to the 'style' of the property, but the trade-off is that HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE, so you need to decide if price or style of hotel is the most important aspect to you for this stay.

Also would prefer to have a 3.5* (no bestwerns) with breakfast or a suite. Other amenities we are looking for are free parking.

As per above, these characteristics are not 'choose-able' with PRICELINE, but with HOTWIRE you can look for a hotel in which the amenities show 'Free Parking' or 'Complimentary Breakfast' (suites are harder to come by).
