thereuare Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 Unlike HOTWIRE, the amenities shown by PRICELINE are amenities offered at every hotel in the zone at that star rating, not pertaining to a specific hotel being offered. Therefore you can't use the amenities shown by PRICELINE to help in determining the hotel you will win. With PRICELINE you need to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you choose... with HOTWIRE you can take a guess as to what you might receive... but the trade-off is that PRICELINE is usually a little cheaper than HOTWIRE.Let us know what is most important to you for this stay (price vs. guessing the hotel and knowing some of the amenities beforehand) and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
tina33 Posted June 6, 2012 Author Report Posted June 6, 2012 Thank you for clarification, I wasn't aware about price line listing ameneties the same for all the zone.I found another hotel through HOtwire , June 26-27th.Beverly Hills - West Hollywood area hotel 3 star rating, at $134.67Amenities:Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access Any guesses on which hotel this might be?Thanks
thereuare Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 Please change the currency drop down menu on the top right of HOTWIRE's page to US Dollars (and if applicable the country to United States). Then continue to search HOTWIRE and post to the board in US Dollars so that rates are consistent and not subject to interpretation due to future currency fluctuation. Once you're ready to purchase simply change the drop down menu to whatever currency you'd like to use and complete your purchase. Please list the room rate in US Dollars and we'll have a look at the offer above. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Thanks.
