I've never used Priceline before, but I was hoping to find a hotel in the French Quarter for a reasonable price. I'm only considering 4-star hotels. Any suggestions on a reasonable opening bid?

When bidding 4* in the New Orleans area you have FIVE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 4* French Quarter...

Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $63, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $68, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $70

any questions feel free to ask (especially regarding re-bidding if you're new to the subject)

If the above is rejected don't get discouraged (as we're trying a few lowball bids first), just post back and we'll revise to try again in 24 hours.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I was able to get the Marriott on Canal Street for $60! The advertised price for my dates was $159 for the first two nights and $179 for the last night. Thanks for all of your help!
