suzi
I am not interested in changing anything in my request in order to rebid. Will the request number just delete itself after 72 hrs is up. I would prefer to close it myself and cannot seem to find an answer to this. Thank you Link to comment
thereuare
Just bid again after 72 hours and it won't be viewed as a duplicate... but depending upon where you're bidding and at what star level, you may have RE-BID ZONES available to use. There is nothing for you to 'close'. suzi
Thank you for your quick response, felt like I had not completed the transaction leaving it open. So will the unaccepted bid just delete itself if the travel dates are passed? I was not interested in staying in any of the other zones I was eligible to re bid with. Link to comment
thenewbie
The 72 hours is just a waiting period. Once the bid is rejected, it will not be retried by priceline. You would just need to start again in 72 hours. Are you sure you understand the idea of free re-bids?Certain areas and levels allow you to bid higher without the risk of staying in the added area. If you read the above link, you should get a better understanding of free rebidding. If not, just ask :) Link to comment
suzi
I now think I understand rebids. Thank you, I will now see where it gets me. Link to comment
thereuare
You're highly encouraged to confirm your re-bid zones with the board if it's a new concept, just to make sure you don't end up in an area you don't really want.
