Started off with the following bids. $65, $70 and $75 (using the rebid method). Final bid of $75 not accepted. Waited 24hrs, rebid $75, 80, and finally made my last attempt $86 and accepted for Doubletree Chicago Magnificent Mile for June 25th, 2012. I'm pleased with this price as it's exactly where I want to be and I'm only in town for one night. Now to find things to do during the day until the Cubs game that evening. Suggestions anyone?

I did use the PRICELINE link to book.

You could head to the Zoo (free, and could be worked into heading North towards the game.) I'd also highly recommend the Art Institute as the real primary "if you have to see one museum" museum. The Field and Shedd (which are next to each other) would be another option. Let us know more likes/dislikes and we would be happy to offer additional suggestions.

Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Hey Aaron, Thanks for the advice thus far. Really, my golas are as follows... See a Cubs game, see the sky deck, eat legit deep dish pizza, and that's about it. The zoo sounds perfect, I'll likely hit that en route to the game. I only have about six hours before the Cubs game. Given my limited time, I'm not too interested in a museum. However, I will certainly take your suggestions into consideration if I do decide to. What I figured was a good way to see the city would be one of the many two hour or so trolly tours, I figure this would allow me to see many sights, fairly quickly. Any suggestions there? I've seen boat tours, and straight trolly tours.

Other than that, navy pier has been suggested. But really, if you have suggestions on great deep dish, some sort of quick tour of the city that will allow me to see a good part of the city, and maybe one more attraction that I would be able to accomplish within roughly six hours between the distance from my hotel area and Wrigley, then I'm all for it. I've obviously been all over trip advisor and various travel sites. It's great to get input from a local.

Thanks again for the feedback and all the effort of the members of this board. It made it incredibly easy to get a quick understanding on how Priceline, and Hotwire work which allowed me to easily book at a great price. Cheers!
