FYI I stayed at the Portola last month on a priceline win, and asked if there was any possibility of an upgrade while holding my credit card and a $10 bill. We got upgraded to an ocean view room, and when we checked out the next day we were surprised to hear that our parking fee was waived in the computer by the guy who checked us in. Your mileage may vary, but definitely worth a try.
