Abovne1 Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 Just registered on this site, researched this question, but didn't find anything on it. I have a family of 5 with 3 young kids (6,3,1). We need a suite (bed, sofabed, and we ask for a crib). Is there a way to bid on a suite on Priceline? We always stay in Georgetown as we love that area for walking around, etc. If someone can let me know either way, I would appreciate it. Thanks,
AaronJB Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)There is no way to bid for a suite on PRICELINE; the service only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy and a regular, non-upgraded room. HOTWIRE is a better choice; it does not guarantee a suite (there may not be one showing), but you can look to see if there is a listing that shows "suite" among the amenities. However, HOTWIRE does only allow for four people in the room - if you have five, that is a risk and I would have part of the party wait outside at check-in if you go that route. If you search for your dates, are there any listings of interest on HOTWIRE? If so, please provide the star rating, zone, price (before taxes/fees) and complete list of amenities.Additionally, please provide your desired budget per night and date/s of travel.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
