Looks like a nice deal for this area, but sorry to hear you're disappointed with the parking charge. To include parking in the bid price wouldn't make any sense, as not everyone who bids on a hotel in the area needs to park a vehicle at the hotel (why should i include parking in my total cost if i won't have a car at the hotel). Also note that any parking fee is the same to PRICELINE guests as it is to a guest booked thru any other method (including directly with the hotel), so this isn't simply a way to make up for a discounted room rate, but rather what they're able to charge based upon the local market.If knowing parking charges before your purchase is an important aspect for you on a given stay, you can consider HOTWIRE which now lists 'Free Parking' as an amenity at most hotels where it is offered at no charge... although the room rate on HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE.Thank you for sharing your win with the board.
