Priceline Hotel: Help: Vegas 10/17-10/19

Please suggest a PL strategy for the following:

2 rooms or 1 room with two queens at the bellagio or venetian or TheHotel or MGMTower on 10/17-19. Max Bid 99pn x 2 or 170pn x 1. TIA.

Few things to clarify...

You can't bid for a specific property with Priceline or Hotwire. Although if you had success at the 5* level on the strip i would think it highly likley you would get either the Venetian or the Bellagio, it is not guaranteed (and you'd be the first to report a different hotel at the 5* level).

You also can't guarantee two beds with priceline (only guarantee double occupancy) so in your situation you would need two rooms on Priceline.

With rates at the Venetian currently $399/nite, you're not going to have success at your maximum bid.

The MGM Grand does show a Tower room at $209/nite... but it only selectable with one king bed.

Given the above rates, how about the Monte Carlo for just $110/nite?

TVM for the quick reply and valuable insight into PL applicability to my needs.

I'll continue to monitor the relevant results and look for an indication that the Venetian is hungry for my business on my dates at my price.
