Priceline Hotel: 4* Montreal (Downtown - City Center) Hotel Omni Mont Royal

Hi,

I was wondering if somebody could recommend a strategy for bidding on a 4*+ Downtown Montreal hotel for Friday June 15th. I popped over to PRICELINE (using your links of course) and found a 4* in that region for $131 USD. Should I base my bids using $120 as the ceiling? Thanks in advance!

Also, any idea what the hotwire hotel is with the following ameneties: Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Free Internet, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom and an 85% rating.

Didn't realize I forgot to post the results for the NYC trip but I've ammended that.

I still see the DT Montreal hotel on Priceline for 131 USD, strategy and timing advice is highly welcomed for a priceline bid.

On PRICELINE are you looking to bid only Downtown-City Center or do you also intend to include Convention Center-Old Montreal-Latin Quarter in your bidding too?

I think we'll stick with downtown Montreal as we would like to be as close to the Bell Centre as possible.

When bidding 4* in Montreal you have THREE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Looks like a nice rate for this property, and although it's not uncommon for renovations to run behind schedule, hopefully the bulk of the work will be completed by the time you visit in a few weeks, as it should be nearing completion.
