This seems like a very busy time. i would like to hold off a few more days to see if I can find something in a higher star rating at this price. How likely is it that there will be availability at this price? I've been looking for awhile and the rates have been much higher.

Better to take a 3* now?

This is going to be a fairly busy time period in the area - it's not only really the prime Summer period in the city before it gets much warmer, but I believe this period is also Blues Fest. There's no way to know if rates will come down, but with Blues Fest and the generally busy Summer period, I think there's a risk of rates heading higher.

Just won this hotel after two bids. Have been trying for over 2 weeks to get a hotel under $100 for this weekend. Already had Marriott for 1 night but decided to add another night and was not having any luck since this is a very busy weekend.

So first bid was Michigan Ave River North 4 star $90- not accepted

rebid Michigan Ave River North and Franklin Areas 3 1/2 star $91 ACCEPTED!!

I used betterbidding PRICELINE link. Thank you for all the advice. It really helped. Very happy with this location and price for this weekend
