Priceline Hotel: 3* Boston (Beacon Hill) Holiday Inn Boston At Beacon Hill

So I don't think this is a great deal. But my trip is last minute, I was searching for 2 rooms and wasn't willing to search outside of Beacon Hill / Back Bay / Quincy / Waterfront / Cambridge East regions. Given all these constraints, I'm reasonably satisfied. The same hotel is $300 on Expedia. My backup reservation was at the Revere Hotel for $270.

Started bidding from $160 for 4* and bid over 2 days.

However, Hotwire has a 4.5* in Quincy / Financial district for $250 which would have been a better deal if I hadn't got so caught up in the bidding :)

Glad to see you saw some savings vs. your back-up hotel. For its size Boston doesn't have that many hotels, so even moderately sized events taking place in the city can cause a dramatic spike in hotel rates.
