It's the only 4* with a casino downtown. Motor City Casino is the 4.5* hotel. MGM does not participate.

Quick question regarding Hotwire. I've never used it or Priceline and am always a bit hesitant as I usually have a specific area I'd like to stay in.

I'm planning a trip to Detroit at the end of August for a Tigs game and am hoping to snag a hotel in Greektown. I noticed that you mentioned Casino, and was wondering if that was mentioned as an amenity when you were looking.

On Hotwire so far, all I've seen is a downtown area hotel for $114 (normally $179 on other sites) but Casino isn't listed as an amenity.

The only thing I find strange is I don't know of any 4* hotels in downtown Detroit with a pool...and this one supposedly has both indoor pool and pool listed.

Yes, the exact amenities for Greektown were listed earlier in this thread....

Motor City Casino is the 4.5* on Hotwire. On Priceline, the 4* hotel is the Westin Book Cadillac (has a pool).

I know what the amenities are for Greektown as I've stayed there before, but I wasn't sure if they would list casino as an amenity as it could give away which hotel it was. Would I be right in guessing that the 4* hotel currently listed on HOTWIRE would not be Greektown?

These are the amenities for the one I'm currently looking at on HOTWIRE. $119 for one that's normally $179.
