lrtjs5 Posted May 28, 2012 Report Posted May 28, 2012 I am assuming that the 4.5 is LaPavillion as that is the only one listed in hotel links in the downtown area. Isn't this a good ways from the Quarter? It is only $77 a night for June 26-29.

tigersbh Posted May 31, 2012 Report Posted May 31, 2012 If it's the LaPavillion it is a fairly long walk to the Quarter (6 blocks, maybe). I walked it during the day but took a cab back at the end of the night (too tired by then, and more secure too). If you don't want to walk to the Quarter, it is less than a block from the streetcar that runs down Carondalet to the Quarter. It would only cost like $2. I've stayed in the LaPavillion once and had a seminar there. It's very nice.
