Hi everyone,

I'd love some help bidding for a 2 night stay in Boston 7/22 to 7/24.

I've never been to Boston before and am willing to take a steer on areas, but judging by the Priceline map: Boston Logan Airport (4* so that we are nearer downtown), Boston Harbor Front - Aquarium, Boston Common - Theater District, Boston Waterfront - Convention Center and Quincy Market - Financial District would all be great.

Our budget is probably $130 per night and we would like to get a nice hotel (4* to 3*) if possible. We're probably aiming for "value for money" more than anything at this point of our trip. We'll happily stay at a lower star but if so we'd like to pay less in tandem with the lower stars.

These are the last 2 nights of a 6-week trip through Argentina, Brazil and the US East coast and we fly home to Scotland from Boston Logan Airport on the 24th so being close to the airport would be a bonus although it does seem very accessible.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

The 'core' areas include Beacon Hill, Boston Common, Quincy Market, and Copley Square.

However, these dates seem like they may be difficult for a 3* or better hotel at $130 or under, so you may want to consider including the other zone(s) you've mentioned above... but you'll need to weight budget vs. convenience to decide if you want to bid just these 4 'core' zones first and then if rejected lower your bid amount and try the other zones OR if your goal is the least expensive hotel in any of these zones.

While the airport is close geographically to downtown, and is certainly do-able, it's not that convenient as you need to take wait for the hotel shuttle to the airport, ride to the airport, walk to the Silver line, wait for the bus/train, then commute to 'Downtown'. The time actually on shuttle/bus/train is not the issue, but more so the waiting time at each leg as each mode of transport doesn't exactly leave the moment you get there (nor is it necessarily there waiting for you upon your arrival).

Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there.
