EDC2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Report Posted May 21, 2012 I am trying to get a 4* on Las Vegas Strip north or south for June 9th and 10th. Where should I start? What zones can I pick to do rebids without winning anything off the strip? Help please!

I couldn't find it on here since I had confusion about resorts and the like. If someone can just correct my list below if it is incorrect in a reply would be appreciated. Be nice have a sticky regularly updated with the bidding zones. From what is listed on Priceline to date as of May 21, 2012 I would do the following for a 4* hotel for Las Vegas Strip North (which is the Mirage or Treasure Island:LAS VEGAS STRIP NORTH --#1) I would click "Las Vegas Strip North" and do my first bid of the amount I want#2) I would ADD "Boulder Strip" since there is no 4* hotel listed#3) I would ADD "Henderson" since there is no 4* hotel listed#4) I would ADD "NW Las Vegas" since it has no 4* hotel listed#5) I would ADD "Nellis-Las Vegas Speedway" since it has no 4* hotel listed#6) I would ADD "Summerline" since it has no 4* hotel listedIs this procedure correct???
AaronJB Posted May 21, 2012 Report Posted May 21, 2012 teshy,Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Please start a new thread and we would be happy to help with your stay.Additionally, the TI and Mirage are the only 4*'s that have been reported to the board in N Strip - there may be others not yet reported to the board.Summerlin is not a rebid zone for 4*, given that there is a resort level in that zone. Given that star ratings and participation can change at any time, it's recommended for users to check re-bid zones each time they bid, as they can change at any time. Please start a new thread with your desired budget per night.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Help please!Welcome to BetterBidding! You need to know how to determine your re-bid zones on your own as they should be checked before each bidding cycle to make sure that nothing has changed since you last checked. To determine your re-bid zones use the method outlined in this thread: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board (NOTE: at the 4* level in Vegas you have FOUR re-bid zones... and Summerlin is NOT one of them)If you read the previous link and are still confused just post back and we'll break it down further for you.Let us know how you make out in determining your re-bid zones, and let us know your maximum bid, we'll then suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
