johnrn Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 This is my first time using Priceline.Entered my destination as Waltham, MAPriceline sent me to Boston Metro-area WestI then went to the neighborhood:Boston Western Suburb I95 Route 128 LoopThere were 4 zones in this area.I bid for a 2.5 star hotel for $38 in one zone--Newton _Waltham-no luckI then bid $48 and chose all 4 zones.The bid was successful.Priceline said they were upgrading me to a 3 star hotel, the Concord Historical Inn.

ctcamel Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 It is a nice enough place in a great town......I live down the street. :) Ask on arrival for a room in the "old" part of the hotel.....generally quite a bit nicer with antique furnishings.Enjoy.
johnrn Posted August 1, 2005 Author Report Posted August 1, 2005 Update to thread:I made the following bid on July 14th.Bid $48 in four zones of Boston Metro West for a two and a half star hotelfor August 17 and August 18.Priceline accepted the bid and upgraded me to the 3 star hotel (Concord Inn)
