Started bidding on Priceline at $12 for an Economy car. Failed, so waited 24 hours and tried $14 again at Economy. Failed. Waited 24 hours again and bid $16 and won. Renting the car through Alamo.

Total price for a 7 day trip (June 16-June 23)was $169.60. I'm happy.

I bid from the PRICELINE link on the support page for BetterBidding.

How did you get such a low rate? I have been bidding up to $32 on economy and compact cars in PWM for July 8 - July 13 and it keeps rejecting me and saying that I will have a better chance if I bid $61. Is there something I am missing? PS. I have frequented the betterbidding.com forum before (and used the PRICELINE link), but this is my first post (and first time bidding on a car rental).

Perhaps your win could have helped another user with their own travel plans, just as you are trying to use the information above for your own trip. ;)
