aitken Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 We need a Chicago hotel with an airport shuttle and longterm parking. My wife and I are flying out of Chicago O'Hare on 5/26 and are hoping to increase our chances of being assigned to a hotel on 5/25 that includes an airport shuttle and long-term parking. We figure that worst case scenario, if we are assigned to a hotel without those perks, we can always afford to pay for long-term parking with our savings- but it would be nice to have it included in the hotel fee. I know there are websites out there for "park, sleep, fly" type stuff but find them to be quite expensive and include a lot of fine print on how their shuttles run only during certain times. Thanks for your help and input. I will post my end result.
thereuare Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 I don't think there are likely many in the Chicago area, but if a hotel offers the ability to leave your car there as part of their standard room rate, then you should receive the same benefit/perk under a PRICELINE or HOTWIRE purchase. However, if the hotels offers a special Park n Fly package rate (which i would assume is how most in Chicago operate) then this feature would need to be negotiated directly with the hotel for an additional fee.If/when you're ready to begin bidding, let us know which zone(s) are you acceptable, as well as your desired star rating and maximum bid, and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
