Priceline Hotel: 4* Los Angeles (Beverly Hills - West Hollywood) 180$ failed

Going to book 3 nights for my stay at Los Angeles from 6/26 - 6/29.

I preferred the Beverly Hills - West Hollywood area and worked out a strategy for a maximum 180$-190$ per night.

To bid for 4* hotel in this area, I have 4 re-bid zones. So, I tried my luck from 100$ and add 5$ each for the next bid. When I went for my last bid at 180$, priceline gave me a counteroffer at 231$, which tells me that the price will be very close to 205$ to 210$.

While at last, I gave up since my wife reminded me that Accorhotels was on promotion and have up to 60% off for Sofitel hotel all over the world.

So, I just booked it for 4* Sofitel in Beverly Hills - West Hollywood at a price about 194$ per night.

Hope this information helps those who want a 4* hotel at this area during the similar stay period. Good luck :D
