Priceline Hotel: New York Hotel-Advice Needed

Hi,

I don't know if it's too late to bid hotels in NYC, but I want bid one room from 5/21 to 5/23. 3 star. And budget is limited to 160/night. Safe and convenient are highest priority. Would you please give me some suggestions on bidding?

I'll also add that at current rates your budget may be a bit difficult... using BiddingHelper.com and/or MAPS and HOTELS.com, what is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel thru traditional booking channels?
