fishymaggie Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 I have been searchign and searchign for a resonably priced 4* or 5* for the two nights specified. I got rejected by Priceline twice tonight with bids of $155, with the only counteroffers being for $286. We'd like to stay roughly within our max $150 price range. I wanted the Venetian, but it doens't look like that will happen. We are tryign for two rooms. The things that are most important to us are a really great pool and hopefully a center-strip location. Do you know what the 3 1/2 star hotels are that are being won are priceline and with what bids? I'd be okay (not thrilled however) with Excalibur or even the Sahara since the monorail now goes there, but I definitely do not want to get stuck at Circus Circus. Any advice would be appreciated or hints as to what people are getting with the EasyClickTravel 'Off the record' links I've seen on this site. There is a 4 1/2 star one listed for $133 for my dates. Any hints/help would be appreciated as we've always gotten great advice/deals from using BetterBidding.com.
thereuare Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding!Priceline doesn't use a 3.5* classification in their rating system... only 3* an 4*. You can see all the hotels that have been reported in our PRICELINE HOTEL LISTS for this area.To identify 'Off the Record' deals from EasyClickTravel, use our REVERSE LOOK-UP TOOL.You could book the Sahara for $115/nite or the Monte Carlo for $177/nite.The Monte Carlo best satisfies your requirements for center strip location and a great pool (their pool is really fantastic)... but a little above your price range. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
