Priceline Hotel: Need Help 6/2/2012-6/3/2012 5* hotel

I have been trying these two weeks for Jun 2 (Sat) for 5* hotels and 4* Golden nugget. At least $125 for strip south and condo strip north but nothing got. $101 is tried for 4* golden nugget but still not getting it. strip north I bid $155 but did not get Venetian or Plazzo. Please let me know if anyone has any winning bid for 5* Hotel on this date and Golden Nugget. Thank you in advance.

Based upon current rates i'm guessing a 5* hotel will likely cost you closer to $175-$195 and a 4* Downtown in the $160-$180 area.

What is your maximum bid at this time for each star rating/zone combination?

I guess I prefer Venetian and Golden Nugget. It seems I have to spend more than $200 to get those hotels. Is it possible to get it at lower price when time is closer like last minute deal?

You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. As well, HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, so there is a chance the hotel you're hoping for isn't the one which is offered for your particular dates.

Is it possible to get it at lower price when time is closer like last minute deal?

It's possible that rates come done in the next 2-3 weeks, but it's also possible that they continue higher from here. It's all based upon supply/demand and how actual reservations for these dates come in relative to expectations... fewer people book then rates come down... more people book then rates go up.
