Priceline Hotel: Another First Timer Here

If you are going to be out at night - restaurants, nightlife - then I'd strongly suggest staying North of the river (River North-North Michigan Ave zone on PRICELINE), as the Loop area South of the river can be quiet (some areas particularly quiet) at night. There are few hotels at all in Lincoln Park and, while a nice area, most stay downtown and the competition downtown generally creates more notable discounts. How many people per room (if more than 2, HOTWIRE would be a better choice than PRICELINE) and how many rooms?
