Could you please help in ID these ones? Thank you very much.

I was actually looking for a 4* with pool around 120$ and hence none perfectly matches. Is worth waiting more given it will be low season?

Last question: first time to Washington and with kids, which is best area for hotel aiming to do the usual first timer stuff? Thx.

If you look at the Hotwire Hotel List and in the zones you're considering, how many 4* hotels have been reported to the board with a pool? HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, so if there are not too many hotels in the area with the amenity you're seeking, there is a (good) chance that you won't see a hotel with that amenity offered.

What is the reason for waiting... for a better price OR for a hotel more in line with what you're looking for (ie- 4* and with a Pool)

The two zones above are generally considered very centrally located for the average visitor... Dupont Circle can often be a good choice too if looking to stay in a 'local neighborhood' and a short commute via Metro to the sights. (but in this latter zone you want to try and ID the hotel rather than purchase blindly to ensure that you're very likely close to the metro station)

Sorry if my questions were a bit silly but I am new to this. I got your points, thanks.

In the meantime I booked another Downtown Hotel with Pool which can be cancelled without penalty. If something better pops-up on Hotwire I'll go for it, otherwise not.

I also used your HOTWIRE link to book rooms in New York and Philadelphia and have reported them in the Forum.
