Priceline Hotel: Venetian 7/27

I will be staying at the Venetian from 6/25-27 on business but would like to extend for one more day myself through priceline.

I will check in on my own dime (big dime!) Wed 6/27 for Thurs checkout.

Bidding suggestions appreciated.

If Venetian doesn't work out, I would also appreciate any suggestions about other best hotels for that amount N/S Strip or Downtown for the 27th. Very flexible in this case.

Do you have a maximum bid in mind, as i don't think the rates in the $100 area are available for your date.

A) I was wondering what kind of bid would be necessary for the Venetian... best estimate. I don't have a maximum.

:) We're thinking of going downtown to the Golden Nugget instead. The Orbitz regular rate for that room is 99. What do you think I could probably get that for through priceline? Again, for 7/27
