metal72 Posted May 11, 2012 Report Posted May 11, 2012 My girlfriend and I looking to stay downtown for Memorial Day weekend. We have looked at the Mag. Mile, River North, Streeterville, and The Loop area. There will just be the 2 of us. Should I try priceline or hotwire? Any good tips? Thanks in advance.
AaronJB Posted May 11, 2012 Report Posted May 11, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)In terms of HOTWIRE or PRICELINE, it becomes a matter of what works best for your stay. HOTWIRE is somewhat more expensive than HOTWIRE, but allows you to make an "educated guess" as to which hotels are showing. If you find a "potential" hotel that sounds good, it may be worth grabbing versus PRICELINE, where if you bid 4* in a particular zone you have to be willing to accept *any* 4* in the zone. What would be your desired budget per night/star rating? Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
metal72 Posted June 2, 2012 Author Report Posted June 2, 2012 The trip never happened due to unseen circumstances. I will use the site again and do like it. Thanks
