Priceline Hotel: Los Angeles - Universal Area - Priceline Strategy Help

Looking to bid on priceline for 06/16-06/18 2 rooms. I have gone through the bidding strategy process and following are the finding. I am looking for 4 star, and its only available in zone 1, so i can theoretically rebid in zone2-zone4 without issues. In Zone 1, Hilton was won at 55-116 while amaraon was at 102, so i am thinking to start at 50 hoping I get Hilton, and if I get that then that is the best price, and then slowly go up 5$ for each rebid. I still have sometime for travel, so dont want to rush and mess up.

What do you guys think of this, any issues? following are the details.

i was looking to get it around 85-90/-

Tried 2 quotes tonight 50 and 55 both got rejected. Should I continue trying with 60 and 65?

Yes, assuming you're bidding at the 4* level i would use your FIVE re-bid zones and increase by $5 each bid up to $75.

please help identify - 3* North Hollywood - Studio City area hotel on hotwire for 3 nights, 2 rooms, 06/15-06/18 travel, its coming up as 82$ per night, and how is this rate? I have clicked the links when searching on hotwire.

pretty sure thats the hampton inn...not a great rate unless you value the freebie breakfast much.

Have you ever won the Hampton Inn thru HOTWIRE? If so, it would be appreciated if you could post your win to the board as a NEW TOPIC so that we can add this information to the Priceline Hotel List as it has never been reported to the board as a win previously.
