Hotwire Hotel: 2* Newark (Secaucus - Meadowlands) Red Roof Inn

Using the Hotwire Widget above started my search.

I had used all my usual bidding tactics on the Priceline site (of course using the widget on this site as well): Secaucus North Bergen 2.5 star for 62, Added Rutherford/Meadowlands upped it to 63, no luck. Tried my old standby of $55 in Saddlebrook, no luck. So went to hotwire, always a bit scary with 2*'s but thought that this would be the RedRoof inn, which looks to have decent reviews.

Amenities listed were, Free Parking, Free Internet and Laundry (Self Serve). List Price $60, total price $74. Decent win, as the internet listed price before taxes and fees was $98+.

Indeed it ('Hi-Speed Internet') was listed under the "See All" amenities link! :)

Stay was fine, recently renovated room with composite hardwood floors instead of carpet (kind of like that!)
