I love to book through this link and I am kind of stuck, I want to spend 2 days right on the ocean with a clean room. how can I find a decent place around Daytona, cocoa beach or Ormond beach and know I will get a property right on the Beach?

You probably can't on PRICELINE.

On the other hand, HOTWIRE could work for you. In the amenities list you can find "Beachfront Property".

You can link to HOTWIRE using the upper left hand corner box or just by clicking on the underlined word.

What are your dates?

I don't see an exact match in the reported Hotwire hotels list, but it is close to either the Plaza or The Shores. FYI I'm a member, not a moderator.

I also don't see a $96, but do see a $94, even when I tried changing the number of guests. When I click on the See All, I get a couple more amenities. The offering may have changed.

That "resort" word undoubtedly means an extra charge, payable at the desk.

July 26-28 Daytona 4* canadian cad $ 95.00 2 rooms 2 adults 2 children

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Please change the currency drop down menu on the top right of HOTWIRE's page to US Dollars (and if applicable the country to United States). Then continue to search HOTWIRE and post to the board in US Dollars so that rates are consistent and not subject to interpretation due to future currency fluctuation. Once you're ready to purchase simply change the drop down menu to whatever currency you'd like to use and complete your purchase.

If you click the 'See all' link under the amenities so you see more than what you've posted above? What is the rate per nite in US Dollars?

Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.

Priceline Melbourne Florida indiatlantic zone guarantee a beach property?

No, if you go to PRICELINE and zoom in on the zone you'll see that the zone is about a half mile wide... you can receive a hotel anywhere within the shaded boundaries of the zone.

A good example is the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood zone. It looks like a triangle with a long edge running along the beach. The southwest corner is about 3 miles from the beach. I won a Best Western in the zone a couple years ago. Guess where it was located?

It wouldn't have been possible to get further from the beach in that zone. In fact, I think the map was drawn out and across the freeway just to include that hotel.

I have to admit, the place had a great free breakfast, and it was easy to jump on and off the freeway there. Plus there was a city bus line due east to the beach. It worked.
