Hotwire Hotel: 4* Hotel - Las Vegas Strip South

Hello,

I'm newly registed to this website, but already read a lot here for a while.

My question(s):

Using the link on this website to HOTWIRE, I made the following setting ...

-Stay 06/10 - 06/24

-4* Hotel Strip South

- Customer rating more 70% and above

- Pools

- Restaurant

- Business Center

- Golf Nearby

- Casino

I guess the chance is not too bad that it will be THE TROPICANA (which I would prefer). But what else could it be?

Furthermore, when checking this availability on THE TROPS website, it shows that one days seems to be completly sold out for all room types. If this is correct (what it shoulb be), is there anyway a change to get THE TROP through Hotwire?

I'm not currently seeing this property offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children? What is the price per nite?

yes, I still see it (only searching for one room) .... price is USD 77.00 per night

no ... don't see any link for more options ... (that's strange indeed .... a couple of weeks ago I was able to extend that list)

I'm fairly certain this property does have more amenities than the those above...

If you click the 'See details' link for this offer (it's on the right side if the rectangle of this offer) then click the 'See all amenities' link (also on the right side of the rectangle of the ensuing page) do you get pop-up window with the full list of amenities?

sorry, now I found out where to check .... thought you mean more options to choose

Amenities are:

- Resort

- Casino

- Restaurants

The above is a match for previous reports of the Tropicana so that would be my best guess for this one.

While more the exception than the rule, we have seen hotels won thru both PRICELINE and HOTWIRE when rooms were otherwise showing sold-out on the hotel website. As well, while the hotel website is showing no rooms available for the entire stay, this link to Hotels.com shows availability for the entire stay... as does Expedia.

The list of properties in Vegas that have been reported to the board can be found here: Hotwire Hotel List Nevada. As noted above, this amenity set has been seen with the Tropicana previously.
