Priceline Hotel: 3* santa monica-marina del rey

Hi,

I am looking for a 3* in santa monica-marina del rey and I would like to use named your own price but I have some concern about getting the marina del rey hotel. Some people said they have this hotel when bidding on a 3* hotel. However, priceline list it as as a 2.5*. Does it mean I can get a 2.5* if I bid on a 3*?
