kabella Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 Hi everyone,I'm looking to book a hotel through Hotwire hot Rates for June 15-18. After looking through the discussions here, I think the hotel is likely Trump. However, the hot Rate for is actually higher than the normal posted rate for Trump Hotel. Anyone else encounter this? Obviously, it may not the be Trump but others have listed the same amenities and the admins have said that is likely the Trump. Price is $296 from other sites, HotRate $163.54 (4 person occupancy), there is a $30/night resort fee. Here is the description for the hotel:- 90% recommended- Spa Services - Resort - Free Parking - Smoke Free Rooms - Fitness Center - Pool(s) - Restaurant(s) - Business Center - High-Speed Internet Access - Golf Nearby - Tennis Nearby - Kitchenette For those who have used Hotwire hot Rate before for a 5-star North area hotel with the same amenities, what hotel did you end up getting? Also, I would assume that the hot Rate would be cheaper for than their posted rate with the hotel name revealed. Has anyone else encountered a situation where the hot Rate was actually more expensive? Thanks for your response!Karen
AaronJB Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)This is a likely match for the Trump. The "regular rate" from other sites is an average of rates at that star level. In terms of the HOTWIRE rate, rates vary significantly from day-to-day, and these may be busier dates. If you are searching for four adults, that's also going to result in a higher rate due to extra person fees most likely being worked into that cost.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
