BambooLounge Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 I am looking to go on a road trip the week of 6/17 to 6/24 with the following hotel stays:6/17 (one night) - Saint Louis, MO6/18 (one night) - Memphis, TN6/19 (one night) - Shreveport, LA6/20-6/23 (three nights) - Austin, TX6/23 (one night) - Memphis, TNI am looking to stay in no less than a 3-star hotel in each city and my ideal bid per night is about $60-80. Is this road trip possible for that price?In terms of outlying areas versus the downtown areas, I am willing to drive 30 minutes or so from the hotel to the touristy areas if it means I will get to save on things like free parking. I have not been to any of these cities before, so I will likely be doing some basic touristy stuff and just walking around to get a feel for the cities in the limited time I spend there.

Having separate topics for each will enable us to reflect the details of each purchase in the topic title of the thread as well as enable each to have their own link in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins and Priceline Maps.If you look at the PRICELINE map of this area, and assuming 'Downtown' is the central point, it appears all other zones are within 15 miles of this zone, so are all zones acceptable? Many/most Downtown may also have charges for parking... does this mean you would want to avoid this zone in favor of others more on the outskirts? (but keep in mind the hotel you win outside of the city may also still charge for parking and you'll need some place to park your car (likely with some fee attached) when you drive Downtown)Let us know which zones are acceptable and we'll advise accordingly. BambooLounge Posted May 8, 2012 Author Report Posted May 8, 2012 All zones are acceptable, I don't mind paying for parking to be Downtown since as you said, I will likely be paying to park when I drive there anyway. So, I'll be happy with the lowest price for a 3 star or higher.
