bedderbidder Posted May 4, 2012 Report Posted May 4, 2012 This was a pretty easy bid, and it was accepted immediately, which makes me think I could have gotten a lower price. Hotwire had a $77 4-star "Riverwalk North and Alamo area hotel", so I figured I'd start at 60 for San Antonio for a four-star, because there are plenty of rebid zones without 4-stars. Not bad for a $169 listed price on PRICELINE. Thanks for betterbidding for providing easy direct quickquote links to PRICELINE, which I used to get this great deal! Now, my only question is: How do I get free parking nearby? Anybody have any street tips?- BB
AaronJB Posted May 4, 2012 Report Posted May 4, 2012 Congrats on your success. Wow! Definitely a nice discount for this Marriott property, and glad you are pleased with the result. Hopefully a user familiar with the area can provide suggestions for parking alternatives nearby.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
bedderbidder Posted May 14, 2012 Author Report Posted May 14, 2012 A couple of things - this isn't exactly on the riverwalk, it's actually kind of far. Second of all, there was street parking available just a block away, so that was really convenient.
thereuare Posted May 14, 2012 Report Posted May 14, 2012 Thanks for the follow-up information. While the hotel may not have been centrally located on the Riverwalk, hopefully it stil met your needs and you found it to be a good value for the price paid. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
