Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Louisville (Downtown) Galt House Hotel

Bid on two rooms, since we are a party of three and are all old enough to reject sleeping on the floor as a possibility. Used priceline bonus cash of $7/room for two rooms to actually pay $45 out of pocket, but the final bid per room was $52. Had tried last night at 48 and was countered at 58. Decided to hold off on bidding anymore last night, then got the bonus cash email this morning ... awesome timing. Decided to start a bit lower than the usual "split the difference" win strategy when offered a countered and got it on the first try. Excited to take mom to this nice-looking riverfront hotel for mother's day. It's a nicer hotel with more space for the three of us, and for less money, than any of the downtown suite hotels we looked at.
