Guy Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 Prefer Hilton. Prefer not to stay Waikiki S. Bid Waikiki North $140, then added Airport to $150, then added Exec Ctr to $165.
Guy Posted July 19, 2005 Author Report Posted July 19, 2005 Rebidded after 72 hrs and added 4* + resort. Rejected N. and S. Waikiki at $200. Booked Marriott S. Waikiki at $279 as backup. Is everything just sold out?
thereuare Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 Hope you remembered that, as per our SUPPORT PAGE, we are an affiliate of the MARRIOTT and your reservations can help support this site. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
LoneStar Posted July 22, 2005 Report Posted July 22, 2005 Did you poke around hotwire and priceline vacations? For early August, yes, everything could be booked. You're more likely to see SOMETHING in the 3 star range at "a bargain" (simply because there are a lot more 3 stars). If it were me, I'd "slum" in the 3 stars instead of paying $279 for the Marriott, but it seems that most 4-star Hawaiian travellers decide to fork over the dough.
