sequitur Posted May 1, 2012 Report Posted May 1, 2012 Used BB HOTWIRE link to bid.Amenities were "Boutique, Business Center", so it was a certainty that it was the Kitano.I considered messing around with Priceline to get something a little closer to $150, but settled on this "sure thing" (thanks to this board), because the smallest possible bed type is a king or 2 doubles (many others have a queen, or even ONE double!!). I'm stowing away 2 kiddies (both very young, but when you put in kid parameters is messes everything up), so this minimum bed size was critical for 4 nights. Thanks better bidding! I'm sorry to see that these days there are mostly questions, and few "win" posts, but I'm doing my part today.Price Per Night: $192.00Nights: 4Taxes: $76.92Occupancy tax: $54.96Fees: $30.98Total: $930.86

thereuare Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 I'm sorry to see that these days there are mostly questions, and few "win" posts....It's actually quite common for this time of year as Spring (most posts at the moment) in NYC is very expensive, and it takes awhile before users realize the $120 wins (and even $150 and $180) of the winter months aren't likely outcomes for this time of year ;)Thanks for sharing your win with the board... the Kitano should make for a great stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
