emberwilde Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 Hi, I was wondering what the general bids would be for one night this weekend (5/5 to 5/6). We were looking for sub $200 all inclusive and would like to be on the strip with 3 rooms. It's short notice, so is it even possible to get rooms at this price?
AaronJB Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)In terms of "all-in", are you looking for under $200 with taxes and resort fees included, or just taxes? I think $200 including taxes for a 5* on Strip North is going to be difficult, but under $200 including taxes and resort fees is probably going to be unlikely. How many people are going to be in each room?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
emberwilde Posted April 30, 2012 Author Report Posted April 30, 2012 People per room: 2, 2, 1Are resort fees around $20? I think we can do $200 with taxes and fees, then another $20 for resort fee.
thereuare Posted May 1, 2012 Report Posted May 1, 2012 If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages.I think you have more of a chance at $200 plus fees, taxes, resort fee, but $200 all-in will be difficult, especially if only bidding the Strip North zone (and not the Strip South zone, which is usually a little less expensive)If you want to give it a try, when bidding 5* in Las Vegas you have ELEVEN re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 5* Strip North...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $155, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $160, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $165, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $175, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $180, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $185To reach $200 all-in is about a $175 maximum bid, but i went a little higher in case you wanted to try a little more, but of course you're welcome to stop at whatever level you're comfortable with.Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
