I was only looking in the LaGuardia area, as my friend and I both preferred to fly in there.

I originally started bidding at $50 (same day) and went up to $75. I managed to get one of the hotels I was initially wanting, which has a going rate of $111. I'm quite pleased and will do this again -- but not purchase insurance again.
