Priceline Hotel: Single room in NYC 3* 05/27 _06/01

Is my first time biddiing in Priceline, and i wonder if is posible to get one single room with price of a "single room". I travel alone and I would like to get a room in Chelsea, Soho or Times Square, in a 3* hotel for 05/27 till 06/01 ( 5 nights )My budget is u$S 100 maximun all tax include. Any suggestions ? do you think is possible ? .. maybe i must change the zone? I saw people bidd for 180 u$s for two people, cause i think maybe i have a chance .

All PRICELINE rooms are for double occupancy. On HOTWIRE you can search for single occupancy, and you may get the rare hotel that loads rates for single travelers, but that really isn't done too much anymore as most hotels (whether thru PRICELINE, HOTWIRE, or elsewhere) typically charge the same for single or double occupancy.

As far your stay goes, you can certainly try, but i don't think you'll find anything at $100 all-in... even a $100 bid before fees and taxes would likely be very difficult, but costs nothing to bid if you wanted to give it a try. If you do want to give PRICELINE a try, i'd suggest including as many zones that are acceptable in order to increase your chances, as the more zones you include the more hotels have the opportunity to accept your bid.
